 Our jeweler has eighteen years of bench experience.  When you combine that experience with our modern equipment, the results are quality repairs, completed properly.

The Dan Martin Jeweler's repair shop is complete with a Sisma Laser Welder, trinocular gemscope (So you can see your piece on a large screen under 10X magnification), laser engraver, a 5 stage Rhodium plating process, and the years of bench experience necessary to gain your trust to work on your jewelry.  

Every repair is done one at a time and then scrutinized in a meticulous QC process to ensure the work is done above expectation. 

You will not see solder lines, porosity, damaged prongs, dull metal, or any other frequently overlooked repair issues in our work.

About our Jeweler. 

Currently our jeweler and store owner are both myself, Danny Perkins.  As stated above, I have over fifteen years of bench experience.  Starting as a jeweler's apprentice in 2005, was fortunate to work with many talented jewelers over the years, along with finding myself in positions where I was regularly challenged to try new ideas and ways of completing complicated repairs or custom pieces. 

Prior to opening Dan Martin Jewelers, I was leading a district of extremely talented jewelers, and able to greatly expand my personal knowledge of what was possible for making high quality repairs and custom fabrication.  

There was a time when people knew who their jeweler was and trusted their work.  My goal is to bring that back in Sanford.  We have a commitment to you that as we grow and develop our business, we will never take away that personalized experience with the jeweler. 

Is it important to you that your jewelry not be shipped? 

Many stores send out their jewelry for repair instead of employing an in house jeweler. 

We do not ship your jewelry out except for in rare occasions where we require an outside vendor.  Ie....Gemstone matching, intricate watch repair, or for 3d scanning for a custom shadow band.  In all cases, you are made aware in advance. 

Your jewelry's security is a top priority, and will always be under lock and key or in the safe.  It does not leave this building without your permission.
